Accommodation Wildlife Backpackers on a Game Reserve between Port Elizabeth and Jeffreys Bay

The lodges are located in the middle of the game area, surrounded by a variety of animals. When you wake in the morning you are able to see giraffe, antelope, wildebees, zebra, aardvark, birds and of course a beautiful sunrise over the reserve. Could you morning start any better? Wait till you have breakfast in the fresh clear morning air.

The Wildlife Lodge is located between the hills of Thornhill in the Malaria free Eastern Cape, situated 25 min from Jeffreys Bay and 35 min from Port Elizabeth.

All Africa Wildlife Backpackers is located at African Dawn Bird and Wildlife Sanctuary. At the sanctuary you can see a variety of endangered birds and animals or experience the larger animals like Giraffe in the 1000 hectare Game Reserve.

At the bar we serve a variety of drinks and meals. Inside the bar is a (BBQ) area where we make traditional Braais and Potjiekos, a typical South African dish made with many different ingredients in cast iron pots on the fire.

The lodge is completely made out of timber, which gives you the ‘back to nature’ feeling.

Cabins are located 20m from main lodge and offers guests a little more privacy than the main lodge, guests share the ablutions in the main lodge.

Dorms R100pppn, Single/Twin/Double R250 per room.
Cabins R300 per cabin

Guest can use the Self Catering Kitchen or order some meals from our menu. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner can be ordered.

We stayed in the lodge which was a beautiful building set right in the middle of the game reserve; the sanctuary itself is a really gorgeous environment with various animals, we were sad to leave. It was a great experience, one not to be missed. Katie and Emma
