All Africa Wildlife Backpackers Accommodation on a Game Reserve between Port Elizabeth and Jeffreys Bay

The Game Reserve Wildlife Lodge is located between the hills of Thornhill in the Malaria free Eastern Cape, situated 25 min from Jeffreys Bay and 35 min from Port Elizabeth.

All Africa Wildlife Lodge and Backpackers located at African Dawn Bird and Wildlife Sanctuary where you can see a variety of endangered birds and animals or experience the larger animals like Giraffe in the 1000 hectare Game Reserve.

The game lodges are located in the middle of the game area surrounded by a variety of wildlife. When you wake in the morning you could see giraffe, antelope, wildebeest, zebra, aardvark, birds and of course a beautiful sunrise over the reserve. Could you morning start any better? Wait till you have breakfast in the fresh clear morning air.

Over 200 species of birds and animals including the illusive Knysna Loerie, the majestic black eagle, our beautiful servals, cheetahs and many more, will ensure that each visit will be a memorable one.

With the largest aviary in the Eastern Cape, all bird lovers will be spoiled. And for the kids (or big kids too!) we have interactive experiences, you can feed the wallabies, cuddle with a lynx kitten or have some hands on time with a serval.

Wildlife Volunteers South Africa:
Join our Endangered Species Volunteer program and help us preserve the wildlife and injured wildlife in South Africa.

Cultural Community Volunteers South Africa:
Stay at the wildlife lodge while working with school children in the local community, helping with education, sports development and aids awareness.

Bar and Restaurant
At the bar we serve a variety of drinks and meals. Inside the bar is a (BBQ) area where we make traditional Braais and Potjiekos, a typical South African dish made with many different ingredients in cast iron pots on the fire.

We stayed in the lodge which was a beautiful building set right in the middle of the game reserve; the sanctuary itself is a really gorgeous environment with various animals - including beautiful birds and tame big cats (lynx etc.). The people are lovely, we got on with everyone really well and were sad to leave. It was a great experience, one not to be missed.
